Holy Fire Usui Reiki Course
Placements I & II
Hosted by Jessica Parasimo owner of A Place for Wellness, & Reiki Master Teacher of the Usui Holy Fire Lineage.
May 18-19th 2024 9am-4pm with a break for lunch.
Class is held at Healing Arts Collective in Downtown Redding, so lunch is accessible close if looking for dining options. Parking on Chestnut is free, as well as all streets west of Chestnut.
This class will be part discussion and part hands on practice with time for sharing and questions. Participants will receive a manual which is theirs to keep, as well as 2 Holy Fire Reiki placements and 2 guided Holy Fire Reiki experiences. The placement process will be discussed in depth in the beginning of class.
Topics to be discussed include:
History and Usui's traditional methods
Holy Fire Reiki
The placement process
The human energy system
Grounding and energetic hygiene
Usui's sacred symbols
Understanding your emotions
Healing thought forms and unwanted energies
And more...
Preparation for Reiki 1 and 2:
A Reiki placement can be considered a ceremonial spiritual empowerment. I ask that this ceremonial space and process is respected. Honor yourself. Drink plenty of fresh water, eat clean, get good rest, and avoid alcohol. It is suggested to start this prior to class as it may ease the physical integration process, but definitely throughout the duration of the ceremony. Feed yourself kind and nourishing thoughts and surround yourself with encouraging and supportive people and environments.
What to bring to class:
A yoga mat and pillow or bolster
A journal
Pen and highlighter
Water bottle
And anything else to ensure a comfortable experience (some suggestions could be an eye mask, crystals, or blankets)
