Who is Meaghan Carnahan?

 
            Meaghan grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. Since as early as she can remember, she has been fascinated with the human experience. Having big existential questions also came with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive patterns, and later in adolescence, depression. She was prescribed and started anti-depressants at age 15 and self-medicated with drugs and alcohol. In an effort to succeed by conventional societal standards, she overdeveloped her masculine qualities. She achieved good grades, held down a job, suppressed traumatic events, numbed uncomfortable emotions, and maintained a social life.  After high school she moved away to Chico state for college where she studied Nutrition and began her career caring for others.
 
            Still coping with intermittent chronic anxiety and depression, she found solace in being a caregiver for the elderly and decided to pursue her lifelong dream of being a nurse. In 2015 she graduated nursing school and hit the ground running as a full-time critical care nurse in Paradise, CA. 
 
            Three years later, in 2018, following a traumatic experience in the Campfire, she left the hospital setting. This life jarring experience reflected to her how drained, morally injured, off balance and disconnected she had become after a decade of working in the medical field and a lifetime of escaping.  She made a commitment to her own wellness and for the last several years has immersed herself in ancient/energetic healing modalities. These evidence-based techniques have supported her in recovering from repressed sexual trauma, self-sabotage and overcoming life-long cycles of anxiety and depression. Meaghan is over three years sober from alcohol and completely free of pharmaceuticals. 
 
            Meaghan now lives in alignment with what feeds her soul and is passionate about holding a safe space for others to connect with their innate healing capacities. She advocates for holistic health from an empowered place of sovereignty and loving, personal accountability. She is weaving together her background in nutrition, health science and practical nurse coaching skills with the modalities that have provided true and lasting healing such as Reiki, Integrative Quantum Medicine, breathwork, mindfulness, somatic and shamanic techniques, and inner child healing. Meaghan views each individual as a unique expression of source energy, here to experience and evolve. She provides non-judgmental guidance through the shadows and a gentle exploration of symptoms and toxic patterns. With this support and space to come into wholeness, reunification with the highest Self is possible and the results are transformative for both the individual and the collective consciousness.
