Ayurvedic Dosha Workshop
Dive deep into Ayurveda, & learn about the 3 Doshas.
Discover your dosha & how to spot
balance/imbalance in your life.
Join host Whitney Kenney, longtime Ayurvedic Practitioner, while she explains the foundation of an Ayurvedic lifestyle, The Three Doshas.
Those who practice Ayurveda believe every person is made of five basic elements found in the universe. These five elements work together in harmony to bring us ideal health, vitality and balance of body with the external environment. These combine in the human body to form three life forces or energies, called doshas. They are Vata dosha (space and air); Pitta dosha (fire and water); and Kapha dosha (water and earth).
Everyone inherits a unique mix of the three doshas. But one is usually stronger than the others. Each one controls a different body function. It’s believed that your chances of getting sick, and the health issues you develop, are all linked to the balance of your doshas.
Pita. Vatta. Kapha.
Fire&Water. Space&Air. Water&Earth.
When your specific Dosha is balanced, you will feel overall well, have a strong immune system, and be at ease generally speaking.
If your Dosha is out of balance you will develop symptoms or signs, indicating what steps you should take to become
more aligned with your Dosha.
These steps can be simple or complex, but usually consist of lifestyle changes, diet, detoxification, bodywork
and sometimes herbs/spices.
Must RSVP to Whitney at 530.604.4050
Cost for this event is $90
