Who is Te'sa Lubans?

My background is in ecology, herbalism, ​permaculture and sustainable design. Aurora ​Midwifery and Wellness Collective was born ​after over a decade of birth focused midwifery.

I offer only preconception, prenatal, and ​postpartum care. I do not attend births. I am an expert in newborn care, conception, ​nutrition, holistic women’s healthcare, ​postpartum care, and lactation. I am also a an ​author, educator, herbalist, culture creator and ​public speaker.

My practice focuses entirely on the aspects of ​midwifery that do not center the physical birth; ​these areas of care often fall by the wayside in ​common practice midwifery due to the ​unsustainable model our culture has set for the ​care of our midwives, mothers and children.
