Discover Schulman Therapy: A Unique Approach to Healing
Schulman Therapy, also known as the Schulman Method, is a revolutionary form of deep tissue therapy that often succeeds where more traditional physical therapies have fallen short.
This unique approach is rooted in a compelling theory:
Muscles Surround Everything: Nerves, veins, bones, and arteries are all enveloped by muscles in the body.
The Consequence of Tight Muscles: When muscles become excessively tight due to injuries, underuse, or overuse, they can constrict and squeeze the nerves, veins, and arteries, leading to reduced circulation. This, in turn, results in swelling, pain, dysfunction, and alignment issues. The Power of Release: Schulman Therapy's gift lies in deeply releasing, relaxing, and lengthening these tight muscles, which not only alleviates pain but also restores normal function. Schulman Therapy delves to the core of the problem by manipulating muscle, bone, and connective tissue in a manner unparalleled by any other method. If you've previously tried deep tissue massage, Rolfing, energy work, physical therapy, chiropractic, or other soft tissue treatments, you'll quickly recognize the uniqueness of the Schulman Method.
A Remarkable Journey of Discovery
The origins of Schulman Therapy are rooted in an experimental discovery made by its founder, Nate Schulman, R.P.T. While practicing conventional physical therapy, he encountered a client who had not responded to traditional treatment methods. Challenged to find a solution, Schulman embarked on a journey to develop a unique approach that would work where others had failed. Once he uncovered this innovative technique, Schulman abandoned the use of machines, hot/cold treatments, and traditional physical therapy routines. Instead, he dedicated the remainder of his 56 working years to refining his new, extraordinarily successful approach. From conditions like herniated disks, carpal tunnel syndrome, and debilitating arthritis, to more complex challenges such as fibromyalgia and lupus, Schulman Therapy offered hope and relief to patients who had previously struggled to find an end to their pain.
